SAFER SCHOOLS SAFER INDIA BATCH –II TRAINING OF TRAINERS PROGRAMME FOR PRIMARY TEACHERS

          In continuation of the “Safer Schools Safer India” campaign launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Laxmikant Parsekar, on 14th April 2015  the second batch of 25 teachers from 15 different schools of Tiswadi Taluka had undergone the “Training of Trainers” programme regarding Fire Prevention & Fire Safety learning on 27/11/2015 at Goa State Fire Force Training Centre, St-Inez, Panaji- Goa.

            Teachers from the following Educational Institutions participated in the campaign:(1) Our Lady Of Rosary Primary School, Dona Paula (2) Shri Sarasawati High School, Juve, St Estevem, IIhas, (3) Jesus & Mary Sarvajanik High School, Carambolim,(4) Peoples High School, Panaji (5) Anjuman Nurul Islam High School, Panaji (6) Marry Immaculate Girls High School, Panaji, (7) Don Bosco High School, Panaji (8) St. Tereza High School,St. Estevem, IIhas (9) St. Lawrence High School, Agassaim,(10) Sharada Mandir, Miramar, Panaji, (11) Immaculate Heart of Jesus High School, Goa Velha (12) St. Xavier Academy, Old Goa (13) St. Aloysius High School, Piedade, (14) Madkaikar Navchaitanya High School, Corlim, IIhas, and (15 ) St. Bartholomew High School, Chorao

            A total of 46 Teachers from 27 different Educational Institutions have already been trained in order to impart the Fire Safety Education to the students of their respective schools at primary level (Std. I to IV ) at their premises.

           The training session concluded with a practical demonstration on operation of Portable Fire Extinguishers.
