MINI RESCUE TENDER LAUNCHED AT FIRE FORCE HEADQUARTERS

MINI RESCUE TENDER LAUNCHED BY SHRI. LAXMIKANT PARSEKAR,

Under the Plan Central Scheme of Modernization of Fire and Emergency Services in the Country, the Government of India had sanctioned an amount of.Rs.2.00 Crores. Under the Scheme, the Government has procured 2 Mini Rescue Tenders. The Fabricated Mini Rescue Tenders have been received in the Department on 07.07.2016.

The tender was floated through c-tendering mode in the month of December'2015 andthe supply Order was issued to M/s Hi-Tech Services, Pune in the month of March'2016.

These Mini Rescue Tenders are fully equipped with Advanced Search and Rescue Equipments such as Battery Operated Combi Tool, Electrically operated Winch for pulling 5 ton capacity, Chemical Protective Suits, Self contained positive pressure Breathing Apparatus Sets, Petrol driven Rotary Rescue Saw, Electrically operated chipping hammer, Hydraulic Door opening Kit, Portable Inflatable Emergency Lighting System. Pneumatic lifting Air bags, Multi Gas Detectors, cutting and Breaking equipments.

The total cost of Fabrication on 8 ton Chassis with advanced Search, Rescue andLifesaving equipments of2Mini Rescue Tenders is Rs.1,89,65,250/- (Rupees One Crore Eighty Nine Lakhs Sixty live Thousand Two Hundred and fifty Only) including all taxes.

These Mini Rescue Tenders will be stationed at Fire Station Pernem and Fire Station Mapusa which will be used in combating emergency and rescue incidents.
