PASSING OUT PARADE OF TRAINEE DRIVER OPERATORS AND WATCH ROOM OPERATORS OF BATCH NO.58TH

             The Passing out Parade of trainees who have undergone 6 months training in Elementary Course in General Fire Fighting of Driver Operators and Watch Room Operators of Batch No.58th was held at Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, Fire Force Headquarters, St. Inez, Panaji Goa on 31.12.2016.

           Shri Ashok Menon, Director, Fire and Emergency Services was the Chief Guest for the Function.The Goa Fire Force Training Centre has been recognized as one of the Regional Training Centre in the Country by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. This Training Centre has been imparting quality Training for the last 32 years and a total number of 34,805 candidates from different parts of the Country have been trained in Fire Prevention, Fire Protection, Fire Fighting and Fire Extinction.The present batch of 35 recruit Driver Operators/Watch Room Operators were exposed to various theoretical and practical aspects in fire fighting, rescue techniques, first aid, fire prevention and fire protection.

                 Director advised the trainees to be dedicated and disciplined to their service and make use of this training in their place of work and wished them success in the future endeavours.

                  Shri. Nitin V. Raiker, Dy. Director (Fire),South Zone- Margao, Shri Rohit Kadam,    Dy. Director (Admin), Fire & Emergency Services, Shri Rajendra Haldankar, Divisional Officer Central Zone Ponda, Shri Ajit K. Kamat, Asst. Divisional Officer (Offg.) North Zone Panaji was also present for the function. Shri Shripad Gawas, Station Fire Officer compered the function and Shri Bosco Ferrao, Station Fire Officer proposed the Vote of Thanks.
